Speedy is our Giant African Land snail (Achantina Fulica).
We got speedy in September 2009 and he was hardly the size of a two pence piece, now he is massive as you can see in pictures below. I know a lot of people think they are gross but I find it just amazing how something can grow so big so soon but it’s no wonder with the amount of vegetables he eats.
